Week 6? Already?

Hummmmmmm baby, this post is going to be awkward to type with my finger.

Apologies for the lateness.

This week’s sermon, from the man-with-impeccable-skin himself, Chris Gee, will describe The Cross and its relation to Love.  Becks told me the verses that Chris will wield in his sermon, but I forgot. Love is patient, so be patient with me, please.

We’ll be continuing in Hebrews 1:5-9 today. It’d be nice if y’all could bring your papers from last week. If not, I’ll pick your nose, then provide you with another piece of paper.

There are so many fun things to do! Don’t forget to…

4. Research the person/sonship/title of Christ and his/God’s glory
5. Memorize the first two verses of the theme verse! We will have a fun game (:

This week we have Ben Winarko speaking on the Cross and Humility – and we will have another skit! (:Let’s be examples of humility! … not like these guys here.

This quarter’s theme is the “The Cross and….” !!! How exciting This week will be The Cross and Joy in Suffering, by Kim Kira. That will be quite applicable as we start going through our first set of midterms! Yay! In SNL we will officially start our Hebrews Bible study, going through the first 4 verses of ch. 1! Bring your printouts and lots of questions

This week is our last week of the school year! Week 10! This week is the CC address  by Brian Chang! How exciting!

This week is also our SNL open house and our last skit of the year!

Everything is still the same… just more people this week

Sorries friends, its been a busy last many weeks

Next week’s message will be “God Saves: Sovereign Grace in Light of Holiness and Depravity” by Justin McKitterick! Unfortunately there will be no SNL skit. Fortunately we are being replaced by Ensenada Spring Missions sharing!

In other news, SNL will be meeting this Friday to plan for Big Skit and Saturday for Banquet Video! Please be in prayer for both of these! These are our largest projects of the year and the deadlines are coming close!

This week at large group David Lee will be talking about ” True Love: Loving Others — Easy or Hard”. We’ll have no skit this week, instead we’ll be hearing from our beloved missionary Greg Nakamura who’s back for a little while
